The IPO Cottage is a fantastic find.
The location is ideal. It backs up against a hillside of tropical vegetation. 100 steps out the front door is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We walked it every day. One can walk 4 miles down and 4 miles back. Never crowded. The cottage is a short ways from Hā’ena State Park – the entrance to the Na Pali Coast. Also a short ways from Hanalei where there are many good restaurants.
Dan was always responsive to our questions and needs.
I highly recommend the IPO Cottage.

From the outdoor shower fully equipped with body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hot water, to the comfy beds, we absolutely loved cooking in the chefs kitchen everyday. The whole stay we talked about wanting to live here. Thank you for the abundance of towels, the beach chairs, all the amenities you would ever wish for in a kitchen, a beautiful and short walk to the beach every morning, and lush colorful vegetation right outside our bedroom window. We hope that we can come visit again, as we will miss the sounds of the ocean, birds and wind. Thank you Taline and Dan for your speedy responses and very helpful recommendations. We absolutely loved our stay and feel grateful to have gotten to experience the magic of Kauai❤️

This rental was top of my list based off the online pictures and I was most excited to stay here because of how lush and tropical it looked online and it held up to all my high expectations. We traveled a lot between islands and this stay was a perfect, low key, peaceful, home to stay in. You are tucked in amongst tropical forest with this gorgeous tree that has orchids all over it growing by the front porch. You felt secluded but also super convenient to get to Ha’ena State Park and Hanalei downtown. The location for the north of Kauai was perfect. The house itself was very comfortable for 7 of us and tons of game for our kiddo to play. I would stay here every time I visit north Kauai. The host was incredible with communication and recommendations and literally anything we needed. Worth every penny!
